Advantages of using ICT


ICT encourages student’s speaking and listening skills. It helps students to grasps new vocabulary. Students clarify thoughts, ideas and feelings by using ICT related gadges. Students go deeper into the unit of studies and can integrate and retain what they are learning in all areas when they have opportunities to create relevant and explore using ICT.

It encourages confidence and can take any risk in learning. When children are encouraged to explore the internet students are able to understand .we can easily get the various information through the use of ICT. It also makes learning easier and can explore any types of information.

It also helps students learn the content better and retain information, develop different skills, Children can express their feelings of joy or excitement, of begin scared or proud. It also helps students to think critically and to be creative.

ICT foster the experience and helps to explore their environments, near and far. Through that children make sense of the world around them, expresses their thought and feelings, also foster flexible and divergent thinking, it provides opportunities for children to meet and solve problems

    Its good that you explicitly pointed merits and demerits associated with ICT.
    However, I could not find what sort of ICT applications you have integrated into your lesson la.

    Our children need to learn the advantages and disadvantage of ICT in their lives. For teacher, ICT make us to work smart rather than work hard!

    ICT have both advantages and disadvantages but we need to focus on how it works to impart the concept of topics that we are teaching. More over we could get lot of information from internet if we browse. My message is always use it meaningfully.

    You have clearly mention the merits of ict...now you need to use one of the tools and see how it works. In other words you need to use one ict tool in your teaching learning process and write reflection on it. Try in your next post.

    Yes madam you are true. Our children really needs to learn the advantages and disadvantage of ICT in their lives otherwise there are every chances they might land up misusing these electronic gadgets.

    Even for teacher, if we don't make timely and appropriate use of this ICT facilities, there are every chances of mismatching between our work and use of electronic gadgets.
